Role description
Position overview
Industrial Millwright role with a long-standing manufacturing company operating multiple North American facilities. The position focuses on hands-on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and production support in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant and production equipment.
- Complete machine setups and precision tooling installation.
- Carry out welding, lathe and milling work as needed.
- Support operators with equipment adjustments.
- Diagnose equipment issues and resolve breakdowns independently and with the team.
Schedule and compensation
Rotation of two 12-hour day shifts, two 12-hour night shifts, then four days off. Pay is $48.24/hour with competitive benefits and long-term employment stability.
Qualifications
- Red Seal Millwright certification required.
- Strong industrial troubleshooting and equipment-repair experience.
- Working knowledge of industrial mechanical systems.
- Experience with welding, machining and fabrication.
- Allen Bradley, Siemens or Beckhoff exposure is an asset.
- Computer, PLC and HMI knowledge is an asset.
