Role description
Role overview: Team Global is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a role serving Canadian payroll operations. The position covers full-cycle payroll for unionized and non-unionized employees and multi-provincial compliance.
Responsibilities include wages, commissions, bonuses and severance calculations, statutory deductions and remittances, timekeeping, new hires and terminations, ROEs, WCB/WSIB and EHT, reconciliations and general-ledger entries, year-end reporting, audits, discrepancy resolution and payroll-system upgrades.
The posting asks for a post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field and at least 3–5 years of full-cycle payroll experience. Advanced Excel skills are expected, together with experience using payroll/HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, SAP, Workday or Oracle HCM.
Public compensation: CAD $65,000–$70,000 annually.
