Description du poste
Position overview
Field-service heavy-duty technician role working on excavators, haul trucks, articulated haul trucks, wheel loaders, bulldozers, graders and other construction equipment. Work includes engine, hydraulic, drivetrain, emissions and electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Field-service expectations
- Diagnose, maintain and repair heavy earthmoving/construction equipment.
- Build strong customer relationships while working autonomously in the field.
- Identify service opportunities appropriately while managing time and deliverables independently.
Compensation
$45–$50/hour with benefits and growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Heavy construction equipment field-service experience preferred.
- 421A or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred; experienced 310T candidates may be considered.
- Extensive heavy earthmoving/construction-equipment repair knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Trustworthy and able to work with limited supervision.
- Clean G driver’s licence.
