Red Seal Millwright (4 days on 4 days off)

Position overview

Industrial mechanic/millwright position supporting a fast-growing operation. The role is primarily outdoors in a yard environment, maintaining heavily used conveyors, motors and related stationary equipment, with some heavy-mobile-equipment work and fabrication.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose motors, conveyors and industrial production equipment.
• Fabricate as required.
• Maintain and repair machinery while minimizing unnecessary replacement.
• Work independently and within a small maintenance team.
• Document repairs and follow work orders.
• Assist with mobile-equipment maintenance where permitted.

Schedule

Four days on/four days off, 06:00–18:00. Overtime is paid after 40 hours, creating eight built-in overtime hours per four-day rotation according to the posting.

• Red Seal or Journeyman Millwright/Industrial Mechanic.
• 5 years related experience.
• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, motors and stationary plant equipment.
• Fabrication ability.
• Comfortable working outdoors and with limited supervision.
• Physically fit, self-motivated and able to handle a busy pace.
• Fluent written/spoken English and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Current board lists $50–$75/hour; posting notes annual earning potential around $130k–$140k+ depending on schedule/overtime.
