Field Service Technician - Montreal

Position overview

Bilingual field-service role with a global industrial-equipment company. The technician supports machinery used in food packaging/manufacturing, works from home or office between site visits, and collaborates directly with customers and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and install company machinery and occasionally third-party equipment.
• Provide on-site technical service and support.
• Collaborate with sales to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical documentation.

Conditions

Standard hours are 8:00–17:00 with flexibility for customer needs and occasional travel. Company vehicle and tools are provided. Compensation is $35–$45/hour; experienced technicians can exceed six figures according to the posting.

• Fluent French and English are mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years customer-facing field-service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented, communicative and customer focused.
• Willing to travel occasionally and work flexible hours.
• Food-packaging/manufacturing or thermoforming experience preferred; strong electrical or millwright backgrounds considered.
