Jr. Financial Reporting Analyst – MD&A & Earnings Disclosure

Role overview

BeachHead is supporting a financial-services client seeking a junior financial reporting analyst for a contract assignment in Toronto. The role helps management validate financial disclosures and reporting materials by cross-checking source data, auditing tables and narrative content and reviewing changes to Management’s Discussion and Analysis and earnings-release documentation.

Responsibilities

• Cross-reference source documents and reported figures for consistency.
• Verify revisions to MD&A materials and earnings disclosures.
• Audit tabular and narrative financial-report content.
• Support review of French-language MD&A and earnings documents.
• Assist the finance manager with auditing and reporting procedures while meeting tight deadlines.

• At least three years of relevant financial-analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel capability.
• High attention to detail, investigative thinking and deadline management.
• Auditing, French-language proficiency, regulated/public-company exposure and financial-disclosure knowledge are assets.
