Application Architect / Contact Center / Amazon Connect

Role overview

This Toronto contract supports a financial-services client modernizing contact-center technology. The Application Architect provides architecture guidance for migration, AI integration and contact-center solutions in a regulated environment, balancing business requirements, vendor coordination, technical documentation and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design IT solution sets from business requirements.
• Provide architecture direction for contact-center migration and AI initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Produce architecture documentation using Office/Visio and present solutions to large stakeholder groups.
• Support delivery tracking using Jira and Confluence.
• Evaluate Amazon Connect, IVR, telecom and emerging AI approaches.

• 2+ years as an IT Architect or 4+ years as a lead developer.
• Proven experience defining technical solutions from requirements.
• Strong communication and large-group presentation skills.
• Microsoft Office/Visio plus Jira and Confluence familiarity.
• Agile, contact-centre, Amazon architecture and regulated-industry experience are assets.
