Role description
A global generic pharmaceutical company is seeking a Vice President, Global Alliance Management.
The role
This newly created leadership position is responsible for strengthening and maximizing the value of more than 40 global strategic partnership relationships across the United States, India and Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
• Introducing alliance-management best practices.
• Establishing governance structures and KPIs for partnership performance.
• Assessing partnership quality, reliability, responsiveness and delivery against commitments.
• Building productive relationships across internal teams and external partners.
• Acting as an ambassador for the organization with global partners.
• Supporting alignment across commercial, R&D, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, finance and intellectual-property considerations.
The Vice President reports to the Chief Corporate Development Officer and works across functions and geographies in a complex pharmaceutical environment.
Qualifications
Requirements
• Broad pharmaceutical-industry leadership experience.
• Knowledge across commercial, R&D, regulatory, quality assurance, manufacturing, finance and intellectual property.
• Strong strategic thinking, mediation and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, science or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in complex, fast-paced global pharmaceutical organizations.
• MBA, MSc or another advanced degree is an asset.
• Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, attention to detail and emotional intelligence.
Additional information
