Warehouse Team Lead

Role overview

Breakaway Staffing is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Team Lead for a day-shift operation in Mississauga. The role combines hands-on warehouse leadership with forklift operation and day-to-day coordination of workload, product movement, safe storage and delivery priorities. The Team Lead supports the warehouse supervisor and shipping/receiving technician while helping ensure that orders and special projects are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse workload and help the team meet delivery dates and customer requirements.
• Support the warehouse supervisor and shipping/receiving technician.
• Oversee special projects and follow up on operating procedures.
• Promote health-and-safety compliance and proper product storage/handling.
• Operate Counterbalance and Crown Double Deep Reach equipment as needed.

• Previous Team Lead or Lead Hand experience in warehousing or transportation.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Counterbalance and Crown Double Deep Reach operating experience.
• Strong leadership, prioritization, time-management and computer skills.
• Ability to recognize and address safety concerns and stand for extended periods.
• Availability Monday to Friday for the day shift in Mississauga.
