Mechanical Assembler - Mississauga

Role overview

Career Connections Canada is recruiting a full-time Mechanical Assembler I in Mississauga. The position assembles and mounts electrical, mechanical and sub-assembly components onto panels, enclosures and structures using standard layouts and customer specifications. It also performs basic wiring and continuity checks and supports documentation, inventory control and movement of completed subassemblies into production.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and mount electrical, mechanical and sub-assembly components according to layouts and specifications.
• Perform basic wiring using customer drawings and schematics.
• Assist with non-standard wiring options under senior guidance.
• Perform continuity checks and complete production checklists/documentation.
• Assemble enclosures and structural components and move completed subassemblies to production areas.
• Support cycle counts, material handling and inventory control in the sub-assembly area.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, drawings and schematics.
• Comfort working in manufacturing/production.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic wiring, schematic-symbol and prior assembly/manufacturing experience are preferred assets.

Current full-time day-shift role in Mississauga, Monday to Friday from approximately 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., paying up to $21/hour. The Career Connections-branded external detail page is current and supports Quick Apply, so RBB uses it as the application destination.
