Role description

Responsibilities

  • Manage site work schedules and permitting while maintaining safety requirements.
  • Manage resources, budgets and cost reports.
  • Administer contracts and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Participate in client meetings and resolve design changes and project issues.
  • Mentor project teams and verify compliance with project designs.
  • Resolve construction issues and support progress claims and invoicing.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of heavy-civil experience; 5–10 years is considered an asset.
  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma; Civil Engineering degree is an asset.
  • Advanced English.
  • P.Tech designation; P.Eng and PMP are considered assets.
  • Strong financial understanding, leadership, mentoring and knowledge of civil-engineering concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Excel and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
