Role description
Role context
Dietzel International is recruiting an experienced Estate Executive Housekeeper to oversee housekeeping operations, household inventory and presentation across a luxury private estate. The position reports to Estate Management and is responsible for ensuring the property operates with the consistency and attention to detail of a five-star hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping across the main residence, guest houses, coach houses and other estate buildings.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, presentation and readiness.
- Build seasonal cleaning schedules, preventative-maintenance plans, operating manuals and service standards.
- Manage inventories of linens, tableware, pantry items, beverages, cleaning supplies and household essentials.
- Coordinate specialty care for carpets, upholstery, stone, wood, fabrics, furnishings, artwork and fixtures.
- Identify maintenance issues early, coordinate vendors and track work to completion.
- Supervise, train and mentor a Housekeeper, including scheduling and daily priorities.
- Prepare the estate for family arrivals, guests, special events and seasonal transitions while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in executive housekeeping within a luxury private residence, estate, boutique hotel or five-star hospitality setting.
- Experience with household inventory, luxury furnishings and estate operations.
- Experience developing household systems, procedures and operating standards.
- Strong knowledge of specialty cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Proven housekeeping leadership experience.
- Excellent organization, communication, project-management and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between estate properties as required.
