Role description

Responsibilities

  • Follow and reinforce site safety requirements.
  • Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate inspections and preventive-maintenance work.
  • Maintain records and support inventory control.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
  • Ensure required materials and spare parts are available.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of pulp-and-paper or comparable industrial experience is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree, a minimum two-year engineering/technical post-secondary program, and/or Red Seal Electrical or Instrumentation certification.
  • Advanced English.
  • Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CMMS/work-order management and scheduling; JD Edwards E1 is an asset.
