Role overview
emergiTEL is recruiting a Data Capture Analyst for a banking client on a four-month remote contract associated with Calgary. The analyst supports a risk-program initiative by collecting and entering data from defined sources, keeping source and collection records organized and ensuring that structured information is available for internal tools and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Enter and aggregate data from specified sources into internal tools and templates.
- Maintain organized documentation of source material and collection activity.
- Work with the team to understand business needs and required data outputs.
- Assist with basic data-pipeline troubleshooting and suggest process efficiencies.
- Support a regulatory-risk initiative involving borrower and facility risk ratings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or current study toward a relevant qualification.
- Basic proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Clear written/verbal communication and willingness to flag data issues early.
- Banking-industry familiarity is useful but not mandatory.
