Forklift Operator - Freezer Afternoon Shift

Role overview

Foremost is hiring an experienced forklift operator for an afternoon shift in a Mississauga freezer warehouse. The role works with Crown Reach, Counterbalance, Dockstocker and Walkie equipment to move product safely through inbound, storage, replenishment and outbound processes in a temperature-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload freight, put product away, replenish pick locations, pick orders, build skids, shrink-wrap completed loads and support safe warehouse flow. The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Current certification and practical experience on the required forklift equipment.
• About two years of relevant forklift/warehouse experience.
• Comfort working in a freezer environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and communicate effectively.
• Safety footwear, clean criminal record and strong safety habits.
• RF-scanner experience is an asset.
