Shipper/Receiver/Reach Operator

Role overview

A Mississauga warehouse is seeking an experienced shipper/receiver who can also operate a Reach forklift. The position covers the full physical flow of goods from receiving and put-away through picking, packing, cross-docking and outbound shipment. Accuracy in shipment handling and documentation is important because the role also tracks product movement and identifies damaged or irregular freight.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify inbound product, put stock away, pick and pack orders, prepare shipments, track freight, inspect for damage, use pallet trucks and warehouse equipment, and maintain safe work practices. The schedule is approximately 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

• Valid Reach certification and at least six months of Reach operating experience.
• Warehouse shipping/receiving experience.
• Good communication, basic math and analytical skills.
• Required identification/work documentation and safety footwear.
• Clean criminal record and ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• RF-scanner, shipping and picking experience are assets.
