Role description
Material-handler position in LaSalle, Quebec, focused on handling, sorting and managing recyclable and hazardous materials safely and efficiently. The role requires close attention to detail, consistent compliance with safety standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
• Previous material-handling, waste-management or recycling experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and material-handling procedures.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, remain standing for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong accuracy when sorting and recording materials.
• English and French communication skills are preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional information
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full time, 40 hours per week.
Published pay range: $18.00 to $23.00 per hour.
