Electrical Maintenance Supervisors

Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. is recruiting multiple Electrical Maintenance Supervisors for a global pipe-manufacturing organization serving the energy sector in Sault Ste. Marie. The positions support a heavy-industrial, 24/7 manufacturing operation and cover several departments, including the Rolling Mill, NDT and Electrical Patrol operations.

Mandate

Reporting to a Maintenance Manager, the supervisors will lead skilled-trades teams and help keep critical equipment safe, available and reliable in a demanding industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities and assign responsibilities across trades teams.
• Support production during breakdowns, urgent issues and changing operational priorities.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Investigate root causes of equipment failures and help reduce production downtime.
• Provide technical leadership on industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation, controls and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Coach and develop skilled-trades employees in a unionized, 24/7 operation.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve issues quickly while maintaining strong safety standards.

• Electrical, Mechatronics or closely related technical background; a degree, diploma or electrical trade certificate is relevant.
• At least 3–4 years of experience leading skilled trades in a unionized, heavy-industrial or 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation, controls and electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Basic mechanical knowledge; exposure to NDT, finishing lines, capital projects or heavy industrial manufacturing is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
• Decisive leadership style with the ability to coach and develop trades teams while supporting production priorities.

Conditions et rémunération

• Multiple full-time supervisory opportunities in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
• Rolling Mill and NDT positions use 8-hour schedules with weekday/weekend rotations determined with the hiring manager.
• Electrical Patrol positions use a 12-hour rotating day/night schedule.
• Target salary: CAD 105,000–120,000 per year, depending on experience and fit.
