About the opportunity

Leading Edge National Staffing is recruiting experienced Material Handling Equipment operators for a high-volume client in Montreal. The assignment is an on-site warehouse role built around safe equipment operation, parcel movement, scanning and organization across long day or night shifts.

The position is explicitly aimed at licensed, experienced MHE operators who can work independently and maintain strong safety and reliability standards in a fast-paced facility.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate material-handling equipment in a high-volume warehouse.
• Load, unload, move and organize parcels throughout the facility.
• Transport parcels to designated staging and delivery areas.
• Scan and sort parcels according to manifests.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report issues.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous material-handling-equipment operating experience is required.
• Valid MHE licence is required.
• Valid electric-jigger / electric-pallet-truck licence is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Willingness to work extended hours when required.
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English according to the posting.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Reliability, punctuality and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.

Position details

• Temporary / full-time / contract assignment in Montreal, Quebec.
• On-site work.
• Public pay rate: CAD 23.50 per hour.
• Published shifts: 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Immediate start is advertised and overtime/additional hours may be available.
