Director, Development & Indigenous Relations

National leadership role focused on the intersection of Indigenous relations, reconciliation, community development, economic growth and strategic investment. The Director builds respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, governments, organizations and Indigenous-led entities; designs engagement approaches that respect local protocols and decision-making; and helps multiple public, private and community partners build consensus around shared opportunities. The role also leads development and investment strategies, assesses opportunity readiness, partnership models and governance considerations, and advances initiatives that align with Indigenous priorities and long-term community benefit. It includes stakeholder engagement, preparation of business cases and strategic materials, research on Indigenous economic development and investment trends, and internal advisory work on reconciliation, partnership and development opportunities.

Requires strong experience working directly with Indigenous communities, organizations, governments and partners, together with a sound understanding of Indigenous relations and reconciliation.
