Role description

Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment; inspect, replace, install, adjust and maintain plant/building equipment; install and service electrical systems and PLCs; calibrate control instruments; perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance; complete related maintenance duties.

Qualifications

Electromechanics DEP, electrotechnology DEC or automation AEC; three to five years of relevant experience or recognized equivalent; electrical competency certificate (C Licence); PLCs, drives, HMIs, machine safety, instrumentation/control; mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic skills; emergency availability; autonomy and stress management; Allen Bradley, Beckhoff and Siemens are assets.

Additional information

CAD 38.72/hour on hire, with CAD 39.98/hour stated from December 1. Day schedule Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Weekly pay, on-site training, dental and vision insurance, employer RRSP and advancement/training opportunities.
