Role description

Read, interpret and correct electrical/electronic drawings; diagnose and repair components; estimate modification, repair and installation costs; ensure electrical-code compliance; install cabinets and devices, wire, test and commission equipment; perform preventive maintenance; troubleshoot machinery; program and modify PLCs; calibrate controls; work with maintenance, production and engineering; train newer technicians; follow OHS and environmental policies.

Qualifications

DEP or DEC in electrotechnology, industrial electricity or automation; three to five years in industrial maintenance; PLC, schematic and troubleshooting skills; autonomy, rigor and teamwork; knowledge of electrical code and safety; manufacturing experience is an asset.

Additional information

CAD 36.86–39.59/hour. Night shift over three 12-hour days. Work clothing, monthly bonuses, possible overtime, spa access for two on request, dental/disability/supplemental health/life insurance, two sick days, paid leave, group RRSP with 4.5% first-year contribution, EAP and parking.
