About the opportunity

Trillium Health Partners is seeking a Program Chief and Medical Director, Medicine to lead one of its largest and most complex clinical programs.

The Medicine Program includes 481 inpatient beds, including 71 ICU beds, 244 physicians and a broad range of inpatient and ambulatory services across multiple sites. The program carries an operating budget of approximately $130 million.

Key leadership priorities

• Set and communicate a clear, unifying vision for the Medicine Program.
• Advance medical quality, patient safety, patient experience, access and patient flow.
• Strengthen physician engagement across specialties, services and sites.
• Evolve clinical and operational models as volumes, acuity and complexity grow.
• Support physician workforce and succession planning.
• Advance education, research, innovation, digital care and responsible use of AI-enabled technologies.

Respected physician with demonstrated medical-leadership experience and an ongoing connection to frontline clinical care.

Licensed by, or eligible for licensure with, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Certification in Internal Medicine, an equivalent specialty, or another certification deemed equivalent by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Demonstrated ability to influence practice, build cohesive teams, navigate complexity and lead significant clinical and operational transformation.
