Director, National Logistics

This national leadership role is responsible for logistics strategy, operational excellence and service performance across a multi-site courier and inter-site transfer network. The Director leads a time-sensitive, high-volume function where service reliability, operational discipline and customer impact are critical. The mandate includes transformation initiatives, process optimization, performance management and the development of a scalable, compliant and customer-focused logistics operation. The leader owns service, cost, compliance and network performance, develops strategies to standardize processes and support growth, builds leadership capability, strengthens KPIs and service-level expectations, partners across functions on business continuity and vendor performance, and champions continuous improvement and innovation.

Reimer is seeking a leader with roughly seven to ten or more years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, operations or another complex service environment. Strong experience in strategic planning, execution and performance improvement is expected, along with demonstrated success leading multi-site or national teams. Candidates should bring executive presence, strong communication and influencing ability, experience managing service standards, vendors and compliance, and a record of developing leaders. Experience in unionized environments is an asset. Postsecondary education in business or a related field, or equivalent experience, is expected.
