Role overview

R. Johnson Legal Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Securities Paralegal for a busy Corporate & Securities group at a full-service Vancouver law firm. The role supports reporting issuers across transactions, continuous disclosure and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file securities documents through SEDAR+, SEDI, BCSC eServices, OSC, TMX LINX, CSE and CDS systems.
• Coordinate filings, deadlines, fees and compliance requirements.
• Prepare exempt-distribution reports, exchange submissions, disclosure documents and issuer materials.
• Support private placements, offerings, reorganizations, issuer bids and other corporate/securities transactions.
• Draft related corporate documentation and maintain precedents.

• Minimum 5 years of securities, corporate or combined legal-support experience in a law firm.
• LAA or Paralegal certificate/diploma.
• Strong knowledge of securities filing platforms and reporting-issuer requirements.
• Excellent organization, analysis, project management, proofreading and communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and legal document-management skills.

Vancouver role with a published annual salary of $80,000–$107,000 CAD. Benefits include extended health/dental, EFAP, pension matching, insurance coverage, vacation/sick time, professional-development allowance and fitness allowance.
