Role description
Opportunity
A well-established Atlantic Canadian general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
Responsibilities
- Support building permits, schedules, product research and drawing logs.
- Review tender documents, drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate change orders, site instructions, RFIs, notices, deficiencies and payment approvals.
- Support site operations and safety, attend meetings, forecast materials/costs and order construction supplies.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of project-coordination experience with a general contractor.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Microsoft 365 proficiency; Procore and Jonas are assets.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for regular site travel.
Additional information
Full-time, permanent and on-site in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
