Role overview

Staff Plus is recruiting a CNC Router Operator for a temporary ongoing manufacturing assignment in Aurora. The operator runs an AXYZ CNC routing machine, loads materials, adjusts tooling and machine settings and inspects finished work against production requirements. The job requires reading blueprints, drawings and specifications, maintaining consistent output and supporting machine reliability through routine maintenance, calibration and basic PLC troubleshooting.

Production responsibilities

The employee changes tooling as required, verifies quality and dimensions, reports operating issues and follows production and safety standards throughout the shift. The regular schedule is approximately 4:00 p.m. to midnight, with initial training on a daytime schedule of approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• CNC or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CNC routers or digital cutting equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Experience with tooling setup and basic machine adjustments.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting capability.
• Strong attention to quality and production standards.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively with the production team.
• AXYZ or similar equipment experience is an asset.
