Role description
A private investment management company in Toronto is seeking a Director of Finance and Investments to work closely with senior leadership and external advisers. The role spans investment operations, financial reporting, tax, treasury and real-estate finance. Responsibilities include finance and compliance oversight, investment and performance reporting, budgets and forecasts, tax coordination, banking and liquidity, financing arrangements, real-estate modelling, governance support and process improvements.
Qualifications
CPA designation or equivalent, ideally with Big Four or comparable firm training. Degree in business or finance. At least five years of post-qualification industry experience in investment management, wealth management, real estate or a related environment. Strong reporting, modelling and analytical skills.
