Role description
An established Canadian private investment company is seeking a Senior Accountant to own accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of corporate and investment holding entities. The role includes general ledger accounting, journal entries for investment and equity activity, bank and intercompany reconciliations, quarterly reporting packages, annual ASPE financial statements, audit working papers, HST support and process improvements using Excel and other tools.
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation in good standing. Minimum five years of experience in industry or public accounting. Strong general-ledger, reconciliation, technical accounting and Excel skills. Strong communication and ability to manage competing deadlines.
Additional information
Current listing on the official Winchesters Finance & Accounting page. Downtown Toronto, four days per week in office. Salary up to $110,000 plus defined-benefit pension and benefits.
