Role overview

ABL Employment is recruiting an entry-level fabrication/finishing worker for a Mississauga doors-and-windows manufacturing operation. The employee works with newly welded window frames and performs finishing tasks that prepare each unit for the next stage of production. Training is provided on site, and the assignment is described as long term with potential to become temp-to-hire.

Responsibilities

• Use a hand grinder to remove and smooth weld marks on newly welded window frames.
• Clean frames after grinding and finishing work.
• Drill holes in frames when required by the production process.
• Perform repetitive fabrication/finishing tasks while maintaining quality and safety.
• Support the production team as assigned during the shift.

• Comfort using hand tools and performing repetitive manufacturing work.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lb.
• Attention to detail when finishing and cleaning fabricated frames.
• Ability to follow training and shop-floor safety instructions.
• No prior specialized finishing experience is required; the employer states that training is provided.
