$21/HR - Material Handler with Forklift

Role overview

ABL Employment is recruiting a material handler/forklift operator in Concord for a peak-season assignment with temp-to-hire potential. The employee moves raw materials, finished products and equipment through the warehouse and supports other warehouse functions as operating requirements change. The role uses both forklift and other material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials such as steel, finished goods and equipment around the warehouse.
• Operate Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts.
• Use cranes, hoists, hand trucks and other moving equipment when required.
• Support general warehouse functions and operational requirements.
• Maintain safe material movement and work practices throughout the shift.

• Practical experience operating Counterbalance and Raymond Reach forklifts.
• Ability to work safely with industrial material-handling equipment.
• Ability to support general warehouse work in addition to forklift duties.
• Availability for night-shift work and day-shift training.
• Reliability for a peak-season assignment with potential long-term conversion.

Concord temporary-to-hire opportunity paying $21/hour. Regular night shift is Sunday through Thursday; training is completed on day shift from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. RBB routes to the exact ABL posting.
