Break Press Setter-Operator( AMADA)

Morning-shift AMADA press-brake position in Woodbridge producing formed metal parts to specification.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate AMADA press-brake equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and determine appropriate bending sequences and tolerances.
• Select, install and adjust tooling and fixtures.
• Run test pieces and verify dimensions before production.
• Inspect finished parts and make fine machine adjustments when required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine equipment care.
• Follow production, quality and shop-safety procedures.

Skills and experience

• At least two years of hands-on press-brake setup and operating experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand bending sequences and tolerances.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Experience setting up tooling and fixtures.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to handle materials up to approximately 25 kg and work standing shifts.
• Forklift experience is an asset.

• Location: Woodbridge, Ontario.
• Pay: $22–$24 per hour.
• Shift: morning.
• Job type: temporary to full-time.
