Inventory Warehouse Associate - Electric Industry

Role overview

AppleOne Canada is recruiting an Inventory Warehouse Associate in Mississauga for an electrical-industry operation. The temporary-to-permanent role combines warehouse organization, inventory-control administration and materials purchasing/tracking so project teams have the correct equipment and supplies when needed. The employee works a regular day shift and supports both physical stock accuracy and the records used by Accounting and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment and material inventory and organize stock by project.
• Purchase, organize and track materials required for efficient project execution.
• Record receipts, consumption and returns using manual or computerized inventory systems.
• Verify quantities against delivery documents and inspect incoming goods for defects or transit damage.
• Prepare monthly inventory information for the Accounting department.
• Maintain a clean, accurate and organized warehouse.

• 1–3 years of warehouse or inventory-control experience, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing or electrical setting.
• Strong record keeping and basic mathematics for reconciling physical and digital stock.
• Familiarity with warehouse/inventory software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of common electrical terminology, supplies and trade tools is useful.
• Safety shoes and ability to satisfy the stated background-screening requirement.
