Role description
Mechanical building-systems engineering role with a multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm delivering technically complex healthcare, institutional and specialized projects. The engineer performs calculations and code reviews, evaluates system options, conducts site surveys and develops designs for sprinkler, plumbing, drainage, hydronic, HVAC and control systems.
The role also prepares specifications, conducts construction inspections, answers contractor questions and supports commissioning.
Qualifications
• Licensed Professional Engineer with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong engineering-design fundamentals and quality standards.
• Revit/BIM proficiency and technical-detailing ability.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Eligibility for government security clearance.
Additional information
