Role description
Autonomous outside-sales role for an established stone fabrication and installation company expanding its commercial construction footprint. The representative develops relationships with general contractors, developers, designers and construction managers, prospects and qualifies opportunities, brings project drawings and specifications back for pricing and coordinates closely with ownership and internal teams.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years in commercial construction sales or business development.
• Strong understanding of construction workflows and trades.
• Background in a related trade such as stone, painting, drywall or electrical.
• Demonstrated relationship-building ability.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Blueprint reading, takeoffs and existing contractor/developer relationships are assets.
Additional information
Full-time Remote/Hybrid role in Toronto. Published base salary: $55,000–$65,000 plus a strong incentive/commission structure, car allowance or mileage support; source does not explicitly state currency. Axis advertises a $500 referral bonus after a successful hire completes 3 months.
