Role description
Beauce Atlas is seeking a Forklift Operator for material supply at Plant 1 in Sainte-Marie on the evening shift. The role prepares and moves structural profiles and raw materials so cutting stations remain supplied efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Select parts according to cutting sheets or optimization lists.
- Supply cutting stations with raw material using an overhead crane or forklift.
- Sort profiles by dimension so they can be located easily.
- Measure and account for profile dimensions to minimize raw-material waste.
- Communicate with CNC operators to correct non-conformities.
- Clear snow from profiles when identification is otherwise not possible.
Qualifications
Candidate profile
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Forklift-operating experience.
- Experience handling heavy loads and large components.
- Strong organizational skills and spatial reasoning.
- Resourcefulness and comfort working outdoors.
- A Class 1 driver's licence is considered an asset.
Additional information
Status: permanent full-time evening-shift position.
Published compensation: CAD 27.68 to 30.70 gross per hour.
Public referral reward: Beauce Atlas offers CAD 2,000 to any citizen whose referred candidate is hired: CAD 1,000 in the third month after hire and another CAD 1,000 after one year if the person is still employed.
