Role description
Warehouse Technician contract supporting a remote Ontario mine site. The role pays $42 per hour plus overtime, equivalent to approximately $49 per hour over a 12-hour day, and follows a 14-days-on / 14-days-off rotation with 12-hour day and night shifts.
Role focus
• Support receiving, shipping, stocking, order preparation and movement of materials required by mine operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete reconciliations or data entry in warehouse/ERP systems.
• Safely move and stage materials throughout the site and maintain organized storage areas.
• Use computers and inventory systems to document transactions and track stock.
• Coordinate with operating and maintenance teams to make sure materials are available when needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow remote-site safety procedures.
Profile
Previous warehouse, industrial-site or material-handling experience is expected. Familiarity with receiving/shipping, ERP systems, inventory reconciliation and computerized records is valuable. A valid driver’s licence and ability to work rotational 12-hour day/night shifts at a remote camp are important.
