Project Implementation & Consultant

About the opportunity

Dawn Recruiting Agency is recruiting an experienced Project Implementation & Consultant to manage end-to-end implementation of software solutions for new clients. The role translates business requirements into practical technical solutions and coordinates implementation work from planning through client handoff.

The consultant works across clients, internal stakeholders and delivery teams and is expected to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining clear project documentation and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Manage software implementation engagements from kick-off through delivery and handoff.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into practical, technically feasible solutions.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation and status communications.
• Coordinate stakeholders and manage project risks, issues, scope and dependencies.
• Support software configuration, data migration and client training activities.
• Liaise with government or regulatory stakeholders where required by the implementation.
• Track budgets and delivery scope and keep multiple projects moving in parallel.
• Transition completed implementations to the appropriate account-management or support teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions for clients.
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into implementable solutions.
• Strong project planning, documentation, stakeholder and risk-management skills.
• Comfort managing several concurrent projects and priorities.
• Experience with process mapping, system configuration, data migration and user training is relevant.
• Experience with public-sector or local-government environments and tools such as Cascade or Laserfiche is an asset.
• Strong client communication and problem-solving capability in a remote or distributed environment.

Position details

• Full-time opportunity posted for Canada.
• Public salary range: CAD 90,000–110,000 per year.
