HR Recruiter

About the opportunity

Dawn Recruiting Agency is recruiting an HR Recruiter in Toronto. The role covers the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, onboarding and compliance reporting while working closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.

The recruiter will also represent the client at career fairs and networking events and maintain accurate recruitment records and metrics.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates through postings, networking and recruitment events.
• Manage applicant pipelines through ATS platforms and job boards.
• Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens and in-person interviews.
• Work with hiring managers to define requirements and recommend candidates.
• Extend offers and support salary and benefits discussions.
• Coordinate background checks and onboarding documentation.
• Represent the client at career fairs, campus events and networking activities.
• Maintain compliance with labour requirements and company policies.
• Track recruitment activity and report hiring metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• One to three years of recruitment, talent-acquisition or HR experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple hiring processes and priorities.
• Problem-solving ability for difficult-to-fill roles.
• Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization and professionalism when working with candidates and hiring teams.

Position details

• Full-time position in Toronto, Ontario.
• Public salary range: CAD 70,000–80,000 per year.
