Industrial Mechanic (day shift Mon to Fri)

Position overview

Experienced millwright/mechanic role in a growing manufacturing operation. The work focuses on keeping mechanically driven production equipment operating through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Equipment and responsibilities

• Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic machinery.
• Troubleshoot rollers, chains, belts, conveyors, motors and other common manufacturing equipment.
• Perform repairs ranging from minor fixes to major work within a small maintenance team.

Schedule and compensation

Steady Monday–Friday day shift. Start time is flexible between 05:00 and 07:00, ending between 13:30 and 15:30 accordingly. Pay is $43–$48/hour based on experience and team fit, with benefits.

• Minimum 3 years hands-on millwright or mechanic experience.
• No Red Seal requirement; ability to perform practical maintenance/repair work is the key criterion.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Fluent written/spoken English.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Physically fit for the role and able to pass a criminal-record check.
