Boutique Manager

Match and Fable is recruiting a hands-on Boutique Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of an employee-uniform boutique in Montréal’s Saint-Laurent area. This is explicitly not a sales role. The manager leads a small team while also working alongside staff on fittings, measurements, orders, pickups, returns and made-to-measure service. Responsibilities include daily work assignment, inventory receiving and organization, shipment and return processing, appointment coordination, service-issue resolution, hiring and training, scheduling and vacation reporting, record keeping, reporting, and opening/closing standards.

• Fluent French and English; French is assessed by the client at the published Level 3–4 standard, with native-level fluency accepted.
• Previous team-leadership or supervisory experience and strong conflict-resolution skills.
• Retail or customer-service experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Comfortable with physical work including lifting up to 50 lb and standing through the day.
• Available on-site Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
