Role overview

NES Fircroft is recruiting a Wireline Operator for field assignments in Alberta. The contract role supports wellsite wireline operations used for logging, perforating and completion activity and requires hands-on preparation, operation and maintenance of wireline equipment in changing field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wireline tools, units and supporting equipment for field operations.
• Assist with or operate logging, perforating and completion activities according to procedure.
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot equipment before and during assignments.
• Complete operational documentation and communicate status with the field team.
• Follow HSE requirements and site-specific safety rules throughout mobilization and execution.

• Relevant wireline, oilfield or field-services experience.
• Ability to work extended field days, typically eight to twelve hours.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform equipment maintenance.
• Comfort working outdoors and travelling to Alberta field locations.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental requirements.
