Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shift

Role overview

Nova Staffing is recruiting a full-time Forklift Operator for an afternoon shift in Brampton. The role supports shipping, receiving, order picking, trailer loading/unloading and stock put-away in a busy warehouse. Operators use Walkie equipment, Counterbalance forklifts and Raymond Reach trucks to move and store product safely and accurately.

Shift and progression

The regular schedule is approximately 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The posting notes that the employee will initially begin with case picking using a Walkie. As the operator gains experience and demonstrates strong performance, additional forklift and warehouse responsibilities may become available within the operation.

• At least two years of experience operating Walkie, Counterbalance and Raymond Reach equipment.
• Ability to pick orders for shipping and support shipping/receiving operations.
• Experience with put-away, loading/unloading and warehouse stock movement.
• Safe forklift operation and comfort in a full-time warehouse environment.
• Availability for the posted afternoon shift.
