Line Attendant - Continental 12 hour shift

Role overview

Nova Staffing is recruiting Line Attendants for a Woodbridge manufacturing client on a 12-hour continental rotating schedule. Employees work alternating day and night blocks and every other weekend. The position supports pipe production through packing and nesting, product handling, inspection and measurement, material movement and housekeeping tasks on the production line.

Production responsibilities

The work includes accurate measurement using tools such as tape measures, calipers or micrometers where required, visual and dimensional quality checks, labelling and packaging, loading/unloading and material put-away. The source also references routine maintenance checks, waste sorting and cleanup and requires employees to maintain safe work practices throughout the long rotating shifts.

• Ability to work a continental rotation: approximately 7 a.m.–7 p.m. days and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. nights.
• Availability every other weekend according to the schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Good measuring skills and attention to dimensional/visual quality.
• Comfort with packaging, labelling, material handling and production work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and routine equipment/area checks.
