Role description
OPAL Corporate Connections is recruiting a Senior Portfolio Manager (CIM) for a growing boutique wealth-management firm. The mandate focuses on managing and growing an established high-net-worth client portfolio, building customized investment strategies, strengthening long-term client relationships and expanding the practice through business development and collaboration with internal specialists. The successful candidate is expected to transition an existing book of business rather than enter through a succession arrangement.
Qualifications
CIM designation or a CFP professional progressing toward CIM is sought. The role requires an established high-net-worth book of business, entrepreneurial business-development capability, strong investment and relationship-management expertise and ability to comply with applicable regulatory and contractual requirements when transitioning clients.
Additional information
Canada-wide hybrid/remote search. A current NPAworldwide mirror states the employer will hire in any Canadian province and publishes a flat recruiting fee of CAD 16,000 for the shared search. The end-client compensation is commission based and is separate from recruiter collaboration compensation.
