Site Superintendent — Multi-Residential, Commercial & Institutional Construction
Location: Winnipeg, MB

Pinnacle Executive Search has been retained exclusively by a well-established Winnipeg general contractor to recruit a Site Superintendent for large multi-residential, commercial and institutional construction projects.

The employer is seeking a construction leader who relies on disciplined planning, appropriate work sequencing, accurate documentation and effective coordination. The successful candidate will oversee site delivery from mobilization to project closeout.

## Responsibilities

- Manage all site activities on large multi-residential, commercial and institutional projects, from mobilization to final handover.
- Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules, coordinate subcontractors and preserve the critical path.
- Lead structured site meetings and coordinate with project managers on RFIs, submittals, changes and progress reporting.
- Ensure quality through inspections, tracking deficiencies and organized closeout and handover.
- Lead a proactive construction safety program that meets regulatory standards.
- Represent the general contractor with owners, consultants, municipal inspectors and executive management.
- Maintain accurate daily site reports, logs and project-control records.

## Required qualifications

- At least five years as Site Superintendent on large multi-residential, commercial or institutional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex work on time, on budget and to specification.
- A disciplined approach to scheduling, coordination, quality and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of construction-safety requirements and leadership of safe sites.
- Practical experience with construction project management software.
- Professional communication with owners, consultants, trades and senior leaders.

## Additional assets

- Gold Seal Certification or an equivalent industry designation.
- Postsecondary education in construction management, civil engineering technology or a related field.
