Project Coordinator/Estimator (Mechanical)

Position overview

Mechanical estimator/project coordinator role bidding commercial plumbing and heating projects across central and northern British Columbia while supporting project takeoffs, tracking, change orders and related coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast costs for mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Help develop project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate requirements and stakeholder communication.
• Produce and manage quotes and bids throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prioritize work and meet critical deadlines across multiple projects.

Compensation

$80,000–$100,000 CAD annually depending on relevant experience.

• Experience with mechanical systems and understanding of construction/engineering processes.
• 2–3 years estimating/project-coordination experience.
• Commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong computer skills; project-software experience preferred.
• Fluent written/spoken English and permanent Canadian work eligibility.
