Role overview
FirstCareers is recruiting a Quality Control Technician to help ensure manufacturing processes meet precision and product-quality standards. The role works with the Quality Supervisor and production teams to perform inspections, validate parts and support ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct First-Off, In-Process and Final Inspections on precision components.
- Verify parts and assemblies against engineering drawings and quality specifications.
- Perform process and dock audits to ensure production accuracy and consistency.
- Document and report deviations, non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection records and support continuous-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a manufacturing quality role.
- Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and GD&T symbols.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and basic inspection tools or gauges.
- High school degree required; post-secondary or technical certification is an asset.
