Project Coordinator

The Comité du Vieux-Noranda is seeking a Project Coordinator to support neighbourhood development and revitalization.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the committee’s work and support its board under the Sectoral Development Agreement, phase 2.
• Mobilize stakeholders around neighbourhood revitalization projects.
• Create and coordinate citizen and partner committees.
• Support funding research and financing strategies.
• Manage ESD phase 2 agreements and assets.
• Coordinate digital and traditional communications.
• Prepare progress reports and a final retrospective.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related discipline and 3 years of project-coordination experience.
• Knowledge of the local community.
• Excellent French, valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Strong collaboration, organization, creativity and leadership skills.

• Full-time contract from November 2026 to December 2027 in Rouyn-Noranda.
• 35 hours per week with occasional evenings/weekends.
• Pay: $40–$45/hour.
• 3 weeks of vacation, possible pension contribution, reimbursed travel, cellphone allowance and parking.
