Municipal Clerk

The City of Lebel-sur-Quévillon is seeking a Municipal Clerk to support municipal governance and legal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support council, ensure legal compliance and manage official records.
• Manage tenders, contracts and procurement processes.
• Oversee records management, archives, access-to-information and privacy obligations.
• Manage insurance, claims and civil-liability matters.
• Plan and supervise elections, referendums and public consultations.

• Bachelor’s degree in law or college diploma in legal techniques.
• About 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec municipal legislation.
• Computer proficiency and strong judgment, organization and leadership.

• Permanent full-time role in Lebel-sur-Quévillon.
• 32 hours per week, daytime schedule ending Friday at noon.
• Salary: $75,000–$105,000/year.
